You don't need a port job. Trust me.

The gasket will be under $10, a can of cheap carb cleaner will run about $2.

i wasnt gonna dont worry but thanks for lookin out. my car stopped doin this whole deal with the high rev now but im gonna clean out the throttle body anyway and now its boggin down when i start it. but only for the first minute or so until it warms up when i first start the car if i step on in i hear the intake and it almost quites on me but if i just tap the pedal i can slowly build up rpms.....think it might be adjusting to warm weather??? cuz its been hot out for the past day and thats when the boggin down thing started....probably wouldnt hurt to clean out injecters too right?

actually yes, seafoam will help clean the injectors and the intake and can be used on the throttle body inside and out to clean out the carbon rather than the carb cleaner. It will also lube the throttle cable and stop it from sticking if you use the seafoam spray.

Dumping it in the gas tank or cleaning the PCV valve with it won't go jack to unstick a throttlebody. Maybe it he sprayed it in the intake tube at the PCV feed it might help, but it won't do nearly as well as a full removal and hand cleaning of the TB.
