Ayup, thats why quite a few people are running the hi-boost/lo-boost switches inside, low for launching and high for when the tires hook up.

There was a company that specialized in N/A drag hondas that had quite a few good articles about how they intentionally try to keep the lowend torque numbers down by longer runners intake/exhaust and keep the highend HP numbers high to keep a good initial traction on the track.

Heh, that's the main reason I didn't go with the H when I did my swap.

I was going to until Max Ha explained to my newb ass the disadvantages of it.

I have to second this statement.

I have a D16Z6 in my 92 DX sedan, and I plan on doing a homemade turbo project to boost it. I know that boosting this engine stock is not going to be spectacular, but I plan on having a daily driver thats quicker than most. But back to the convo...if you have the money, build up the d16 and boost it. D16's are sleepers in itself when it comes to high performance. So...it all depends on how much money you are willing to fork out into a car that may or may not be your only car or your daily driver.
