i shift under 2500 rpm, i drive very conservative except when going to work on the highway b/c usualyl i'm running late so i do 75 mph on the highway.
the HX rims are lighter than the 13 inch crx steel rims(175 70 13)? i just have a major tune up including 02 sensors done for free ;-) thanks to cracked manifold warranty covered it.

I'm pretty sure the HX rims are lighter than the 13" steelies. Steelies are amazingly heavy for their size.

i heard it weighs 12lbs for the hx rims 14 inch without tire. I would think the 13 rims pictured belowe would be less than 12 lbs so its not? i seen aftermarket rims weight in 10 lbs for 14 inchers.

AFAIK the VX rims were the lightest, 13" cast aluminum. Almost exactly like the HX, but 1" smaller.

HX - 11.75lbs
13" steelies - 16lbs
14" steelies - 18lbs

perspective
15" SI - 16.5lbs
15" Rota Slipstream - 11.8lbs

I don't know what the VX rims weigh but I held a VX in one hand and a HX in the other (with tires) and the VX was noticably lighter.

yup, I sold my vx wheels as racing skinnies... I didn't weigh them but they felt noticably lighter than my heliums, which are 10.8lbs.

the factory hub cap rims are the steelies, simply without the hub caps....
