Default teenager's first car

hey y'all

i'm 18 years old and was thinking of getting a honda civic but i don't know what is the best year. i want to get a civic that is safest car of all plus i can afford any civic because my parents are getting me one..

You're probably going to want something reliable for your first car, and seeing money does not seem to be an issue, I say go ahead and buy the new ones.

Very reliable, look good and all have potential once you've learned a little bit about them.

Congrats on your first post and hope you enjoy your stay here. If you do purchase your new Civic or any Honda or Acura for that matter, make sure to read up on as much as you can here at HAN. Theres plenty to learn.

Just please don't add any stickers or alteeza taillights (otherwise known as "rice" around these parts).

Do you need it now? If you don't I'd wait to see what 2006 offers when the new Civic comes out

id buy a new one if cash wasnt an issue, just dont think its a race car when you get it and expect it to be stupid fast....its an economy car

i aint that stupid compare to most teenager like fast cars... just want to get a good safety car simple as that... maybe i will wait until 2006 civic

if you're looking for the safest, the newer ones (01+) have the highest safety parameters. All new hondas are built to be extermely safe.

aight great more options.... from 2001 - 2006... i saw the 2006 honda civic ... its look kinda future type, kinda weird looking compare to other civic... if you pick from 2001 -2005 which would it be?

which ever has the lowest mile and the options and trim level that suits you... mechanically they're pretty much the same through those years.

does 2 doors or 4 doors make a difference in the safety category?
