Dseries can be directly swapped with Dseries and Bseries can be directly swapped with Bseries. You should be able to just bolt it right up.

They are both SOHC vtec motors according to this site. http://www.jdmuniverse.com/forums/ht...=Engine%20Info
so you should be able to use the same ECU, that's why it should be a direct bolt up.

i dont believe that is right. the d15b7 is a sohc non-vtec motor. the d16z6 is a sohc-vtec motor. you will need the p28 ecu and run the vtec wires, solenoid, etc. to the ecu. i just did this swap with my friend so already went through it. good luck

straight drop in, should be able to use the DX harness and just wire up a couple of wires for vtac y0!.... *the D15B7 i believe came in DX models in 92-95 which were non-vtec*

I have a 92 civic sedan and I recently had a D16Z6 swap. The ECU that ran on my D15 works fine on the D16, but I wouldnt recommend it if your going to be pushing your engine. If you want my advice, get an upgraded ECU like a Skunk2 or a Comtech Sport ECU. But if you dont have the money up front, the ecu from the d15 will work.
