bleh i shift at 6k+ all day, and i got 140k miles with 200+ compression in all cylnders and no leaks of any sort.

hondas like abuse.

i shift at 2-2500k for best fuel economy unless i have to get to work fast or avoid bad traffic

you might damage your neck with all that acceleration heh. just kidding. fast acceleration shouldnt really damage anything on a healthy engine unless youre talking about launching. in a launch your clutch, transmission, axles, crank, timing belt, and tires can be directly affected to name a few.
