What do you think is really loud? I have a 3 foot pipe off of a chikara header on a D16Z6, and its not really loud, its raspy as hell, but not really loud.

Do you meen like seting off a car alarm when you drive next to them, loud?

If thats what you meen then no its not that loud. I have heard that system on a D16, and its not that great.... APEXI N1 system sounds sweet. But its all bout the $....

Evo 2 sounds nice and quiet, not raspy or annoyingly loud. That was what I really wanted for my turbo car, but I found a deal on a Magnaflow I couldn't pass up. I'm still using the midpipe/resonator on my hatch.

Ok, well a header should be #1 befor an exhaust, you will thank me in the long run. Get a header first, and then the catback system, it will sound so much better...

Actually, the exhaust manifold design on the EX is far less restrictive than the exhaust system is. If it were a DX/LX/CX, I'd agree, as the manifold design sucks for power on those. All things equal, I'd probably go for an exhaust first.
