how would this help protect against theives?? are you talking about a start button like an s2k button?
If you mean like a starter kill switch then I would understand but a ignition on switch is just giving the theives an easy access to the ignition wiring, not like they don't have it already in a honda

I think he is talking about an ignition priming switch.. or battery kill.. or whatever.
If he is talking about a start button , then thats a pretty silly idea with no practical sense at all, and absolutely not a theft deterrant.
If it is a battery out circuit style switcher type your talking about then its way easy, there are several wires you can use.. including clutch wire, ignition, 12v battery, amongst others.
Search is your friend for that matter.

Yea, if they want it bad enough they will find a way to steal it, my uncles RX7 got stolen 3 weeks after it was painted, and he had it in his locked garage with a locked gate around the driveway, and 3 dogs, they cut all the locks, waited till the dogs went inside, and then rolled the car out of the garage and driveway, and down the street and then onto a trailer. He got it back, but the paint was all messed up....
Your best bet is THE CLUB, and your friend the steering lock. Alarms, and flashing lights help deter lazy people. I have a blue flashing light in my corner lights, and on my dash. I also have a proxy sensor in my car, so if anything in there moves, it goes off.
And my stereo still got jacked, they punched a screwdriver/drill/icepick through my fender and into my battery and drained it till everything was dead. Now I have a small battery under my hood, for my alarm, and my battery is in my trunk in a box. I have had no problems since, and thats with a DVD in the dash, parked in Down Town Tacoma parking garage for 3 days.

I was talking about the ignition switch that would be responsible for turning just the ignition on. I have the switch ready to go (its not a button). I'd still have to use the key to turn my baby on. Can you help me with wiring? I'm a newb in this but want to do it myself. Thank you.

There are a couple of places you could put the switch. For example the clutch switch.
I can't give you the details since I've never done it.
I mean I could do it, but it would be touch and go if you know what I mean.
