Here's the deal: my friend is selling his 97 EX sedan. I've got a 98 EX coupe. He's got a DC Sports exhaust system on his car and we were (are) going to swap exhaust – I have a stock one, he doesn't.

So, will his exhaust fit my car? I've been told no – the sedan exhaust is longer. However, I called DC Sports, and they said yes – the 92-98 exhaust systyems are the same on the two and four door models (EX).

So, does anyone know for sure? I don't want to get everything unbolted only to find out we can't do it!

If DC says it fits... then it should... Well, my 92 Sedan axle back exhaust fits on a 2000 Si, so... I'm guessing it should. But wait, is it axle back or cat back?

Hmm, then I'm not sure then, techincally, the chassis should be the same, but the sedan sides are longer than coupes... let me check with my coupe friend!

According to the Honda website and carpoint, a 1997 sedan and a 1998 Coupe are both 175.1 inches long. Based on that, it shouldn't be a problem.
