its not that simple, there is no real difference "very minimal" in structural integrity whether the rotor is drilled or cast with the slots or cross drills, what is different is the way the heat gets distributed on the surface of the rotor and cools off. The metal particles patterns will be disturbed if the rotor is cross drilled after the rotor has been cast.
I have a lot of friends and clients that come to me with warped brembo's! and they dont take their cars to the track. Why because the metal brembo uses has a higher alloy content, which causes a reduction in the metals heat transfer ability , meaning the disc's stay hot longer. This makes the rotors more prone to warpage.

However there are advantages to an higher alloy metal, but not in this case.

I didn't say Brembos were infallible. No rotor is. My Brambo fronts definitely do stay hotter for longer than the stocks.

you ask us what we use, and then tell us we are useing the wrong stuff? Sounds like a sales ploy to me....

Here hows this:

Original equipment quality rotors come from suppliers such as Brembo, Raybestos, TRW, Mountain, etc, and are made of high quality iron with a fine finish, matching the quality of the units that came on the vehicle from the manufacturer.

Replacement rotors, most commonly produced in China or Hong Kong, tend to be of inferior metal and finish. They are, however, considerably cheaper than O.E .units- the choice is yours!!

Also, as for brake pads, it all depends on the aplication, but Ceramic and Kevlar has been the best for me...

I use Raybestos Rotors on the front and rear of my 94 EX...

sorry but your wrong on that one. theres a huge differance. when you drill into a metal, you're breaking the bonds between molecules, thus weakening the structure. however, if molten cast iron is poured into a mold, such as a cross drilled/slotted rotor mold, those bonds will hold the same strenght as they would without the holes or slots being there.

I second that.... If you dont know the science of drilled or casted rotors than dont say anything at all... Some people.... :rant:
