Default can u put a h22 ecu on a SOHC

can a car SOHC actually run on a h22 ecu without problems. I am swapping type s swap in my civic and before I do I want tinker with my old engine and see what I can do. engine is not in good condition so I dont feel guilty.

No. It will have a seriously hard time even trying to run. It will try to run way rich and will freak out when it doesn't detect a knock sensor, amoung other problems. Don't waste your time.

Sorry half asleep when I read it. Like was said the DOHC Ecu will freak when it doesn't get a knock signal. If you're going to trash the motor and want to have a little fun I juiced the heck out of my d15 before I swapped it out of my sol.
