I heard of someone running a cutoff switch on starter, fuel pump, and the clutch, pretty cool..alot of work id imagine though.
It would still push start. h:

So how do i do that? and where is the relay?? would i just take that small switch connect it to that instead of directlly to the fuel pump power wire??

Wire in a new relay yourself, on the fuel pump power wire.

Exactly, a relay has 'tracks' and an actuator 'sensor' (if you will). You wire the fuel pump up in a way that the wire goes thorugh the relay path that is completed when the actuator sees power. You wire you switch up to the actuator. That way when the actuator doesn't see any power (your switch is off), the fuel pump gets no power because the relay has that circuit incomplete. When you turn the switch on and the relay actuator sees power, it switches the 'tracks' for the fuel pump and completes the circuit.

It's hard to explain, but once you see the relay it should make more sense.

Are there different types of relays? If so, which one do I get? I'm kinda new to the electrical scene, so if this is a retarted question, don't hurt me too badly. Thanks.

Go to Radio Shack and ask for a standard automotive relay. They'll pick it out for you.

read the quote , he was talking about if the clutch sensor was reran to a relay to turn it off like a fuelpump cutoff.

Actually, if YOU re-read his response to your post, he quoted your mentioning of a starter, clutch, AND fuel pump swith and responded with, "it would still push start." Granted, it would make more sense that he was responding to just the clutch switch, but I imagine you can understand my confusion...
