I'm sorry man but I don't think you have any idea what he is talking about.
intercoolers don't affect the temperature of the turbo in any way. THey are Oil cooled, I would say 75% of them don't even have water cooling or just have it as an option. The oil circulates through, lubricates, and takes heat out with it. That is why a lot of factory turbo cars have oil coolers

Dont effect the temperature of the turbo in *ANY* way? Right.

Although miniscule, the intercooler will still effect the temperature of the turbocharger. I agree that most turbos do not have water cooling, and most have it as an option, I was not debating that. The intercooler, though, does still play a part in turbocharger and overall engine temperature.

the air that is going into the intercooler DOES NOT GO INOT THE TURBO it goes into the engine. unless you can some how magically cool down exhaust temperatures before it goes into the turbo, the inter cooler doesnt effect turbo temps

Air that goes in intercooler, is being cooled to go back into the intake!
Turbos are cooled by the oil that runs through it! If it was self lubricating(which i dont think any are) it would simlity get to hot and prob lock up the turbo!(not good)
air plays no role in keeping the turbo cool!!!
