Default Help!!!!my Car Wont Start

I GOTTA 92H/B DX. IT WONT START I DONT KNOW WHATS WRONG WITH IT. I DONT THINK ITS GETTING SPARK TO THE MOTOR. I ASKED A MECHANIC ABOUT IT HE SAID ITS THE SPARK IGNITOR OR THE COIL, BUT MOST LIKELY THE SPARK IGNITOR. SO I BOUGHT THE ****IN PART FOR $105.00 AND ITS NOT IT!!!!!!! IT STILL WONT TURN OVER .. HELP!!! I NEEED MY CAR . DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS PROBLEM IS??????????

PLEASE TURN YOUR CAPS LOCK OFF. Anyways, be sure what the problem is before you buy parts. Isolate the problem, then fix it.

take apart your distributor and try and find anything thats isnt normal...ie, no the "spring" on the coil could be fried.

Well, what I think is that you should replace the spark plugs, spark plug wires, and see if you conneceted the ignitor correctly..and check to see if you are not making connection..

is it cranking and not turning over, or just not cranking at all.

I've got a '95 Civic DX (D15B7) distributor I'll sell you that I know works. I don't have any use for it so I'll sell it for cheap...

If it comes to that let me know.

yo have to go through the "dummy system" when checking problems like this. check the dum things first. spark, plugs, wires, dist. cap, etc. check these little easy things first then work your way back to the more annoying and more expensive things to fix if those do not proove to be the root of the problem.
