Default 2 suspension questions

What is usually better for an everyday driver/streetracer, Coil overs or springs? Also out of the three what sounds better H&R springs, Groundcontrol Coilovers, or skunk 2 Coilovers. I want a smooth ride + take some hard corners.

I think some skunk 2 or ground control coilovers would better that way you can adjust it to the heaight you want IMO

Springs are cheaper, typically.

And you're not gonna get a smooth ride unless you get new shocks as well, unles you get like a shocks/springs combo.

Yes, I plan to get shocks with c/o or springs also but I just haven't decided which ones yet. Right now I'm mostly focusing on the springs/coilovers.

I perfer springs. Most coilover setups have much higher spring rates than your standard quality lowering spring (typically they have to since their using a much shorter spring to compensate for the design). It's great if you drive on a smooth racetrack everyday but crappy highways and bumpy streets ride a lot worse with stiffer springs. The adjustablity is nice but hoenstly, how often do you think you'll mess with them? Aside form the issue of having to redo your alignment when you change them, your probably just going to lower the car to where you want and then never touch them again. You can corner balance a car much easier with coilovers and dial in the suspension settings, but with your current suspension, how often have you though, if I could just drop that front right corner down 1/16 of an inch, it would be perfect. If your serious about competition and adjustments to your car, go with coilovers (if that's true, skip the ground controls and skunk2 and go with a true set of coilovers) otherwise if you just want to lower your car, have it handle and look better, stick with springs.

Springs and shocks. I don't recommend putting sleeve system coilovers on any car. Either Springs and shocks or save the money for a full system.

Right on.
I have coilovers and I want them gone. Its too stiff, spring rates are too high. I drive 45 minutes each way to work and my car is beating me up. Actually I'm exaggerating a little, but it is rough. I still like it more than the stock ride.
