It's such a feminine thing too, decorating. It's like interior decorating, or fashion.
Isn't the purpose of a car to drive? Decorate something else.
you only say that because your car's a piece of shit.

some of us don't have to make up for, um, shortcommings

speed isn't everyones focal point. There's much more to a car than hp and ft/lbs. And if you think thats all that matters in a car, then you're a fool.

but wait a minute. you're a wise-ass 16 year old in a busted-ass crx...

car's are art, no doubt. Some of us like tinkering with perfection

That is one of the single stupidest comments I have heard, sounds like your just trying to make yourself sound right.

If a car is a car and its purpose is to just drive, why do car companys such as Honda, GM, Ford, Toyota, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Nissan etc keep refining the look of there car? Its stupid to decorate a car, its for driving, right?

Because looks sell, thus meaning people DO care about how their cars look.

If a car is a car and all it is is for driving then lets all drive Geo's, from what I hear they are drivable.

It's milano red and I was wondering what the first mod I should do. I was thinking lip kit, paint stock sideskirts, lower, get some 00 tails, intake, and MAYBE exhaust, but only a quiet one.

and since noone has said anything..

Painting your sideskirts is generally a bad idea on a daily driver, if its not a very dark color.

If your repainting it Milano Red (which is a beautiful color, and my car was that color stock ) Then I wouldnt paint the sides, because youknow whats gonna happend as soon as the sides get hit with a pebble or something from the road, that black will shine right through as clearly as day

Oh, I never thought about that. It would be a lot of work to keep repainting. Thanks man. BTW you have any pics of your civic?

i personally like those factory wheels. that might actually look good powder coated gun metal or somthing like that. im going to say do a little suspension first as well and then start saving for a turbo kit. suspension is always fun, but boost just keeps getting better and better.

If the purpose of a car is to drive, then why try to make it faster with a GSR swap as you suggested earlier? After all, it's just for driving. All that does is hurt gas mileage, means more maintenance, and using money that could spent on things more important.

Simply put, you're an idiot.

and aditionaly.. even if HIS reason for having a car is SOLELY to modify it to be faster without regard for the looks of the car... then why bother starting with one of the slowest cars out there.. he as you put it.. is simply an idiot..
