There are 2 star-head bolts that hold the airbag onto the steering wheel - one on either side. Be sure that when you unplug the airbag that you put the yellow connector blank on the car end and have the neg. battery wire disconnected.
Once you take those 2 bolts out you can remove the airbag and then take the main nut off to get the wheel off. REMEMBER to mark where the wheel was on the shaft so you can put it back on in the same place. If you don't, you're steering wheel will be off that that is not cool. :a:

just yank the little cover on the bottom of the wheel, pull the jumper off the cover and unplug the air bar, plug the jumper into the air bag.
pull off the cover to the right and left side of the wheel (under the cruise buttons) and take out the two torx screws that hold in the airbag. pull out the air bag assembly.
unplug the horn connector and take off the center hub nut.
rock the wheel back and forth while pulling on it and it will come off in your hands.
I'd throw out screen shots of the Helm manual but my host is down.
BTW I'd pick up a Helm manual if I were you, it has everything you would need in it. Worth every penny, especially when you download it.
**edit, I type too slow.
