the newer Kenwood sucks, but older stuff (3yrs+) is great.

Nothing wrong with the redtop. Only thing is that it is not as good as the yellow. I had a red in my car. I was pushing one 12" JL Audio with a 600watt amp and my lights would dim at the lightest hit of bass. My brother-in-law has a yellow top and he has 3 12" pushing 1500watts and you can drive the shit out of those subs and not a bit of dimm. Maybe just me but that's my story.

no argument there man, driving a system the Yellow is better... but it tends to have less CCA and with really cold temps (-25) had problems starting my car. The red has not let me down yet. Even with my old system. (~3000w) Then again I'm a power fanatic, the 8-1F caps probably help with the dimming problem a lot.
