short ram or cold air?
ok, probably dumb question for some of you, but whatever...which is the better, and why, for my pretty much sadly (so far) stock 94 civic ex engine: AEM short ram intake or AEM cold air intake?
is about $170 for cold air intake and $120 for ram air intake good prices?

you arent gonna gain much power with either but from what i hear you will get better production out of the cold air.
i have a short air Injen. (I got a good deal on mine)
BTW they both havea cool sound though

the cai do give u a bit power at the high end i guess...
but seriously...i dont think its worth it at all spending 170 for some intakes...
for now...do a quick search on how to make one...ull save plenty of money...

I remember when I once couldn't afford an intake. then I gave up my social life.
I'd buy a used ICEMAN cai/shertram for no more than $130 shipped. You will not regret it.

i have an aem short intake on my 98 civic ex and its fine i guess.
if i had to do it all over, i'd save up for a foam drop in filter and take out the resonator. . . much more simpler.

Yea..dyno's can 'show' you differences, but in reality, it's not really a huge difference.... at least the butt dyno won't really be able to tell the difference.
