1994 Civic Tranny problem.
Hello everyone,
My GF's civic is having a problem with the tranny, everytime you try to acelerate the car wont move until you turn it off and then turn it back on, even then, the car has a hard time shifting gears, Any ideas what could it be? I change the transmission fluid this weekend to dexton III, could that be the problem? any help would be apreciated, I'm totally cluless about hondas
Thanks.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, the car is auto.

Your tranny is absolutely... GONE!
My tranny did the same thing back when I first rebuilt my auto tranny. Sorry to break it to you, but you're lookin at least $1200 to replace the tranny.
Good Luck.

haha sorry to laugh at you but your so off on that price..a new engine and tranny wont even cost you that .just buy a used tranny...cost no more than $100-$300 and you should be able to do it yourself.
next time dont borrow your g/f car and go to the races...doing nuetral drops is a :nono:......
