would you consider something other then a honda or acura? there are lots of other cars out there that have what your looking for and could also have a lil more power. thats just my perspective on the issue. altho i do love my honda, i still wich i would have opted with my first idea about which car i wanted, but that was then......and still in the back of my head

Youll get more money out of the car then that cause they will let you take the radio and stuff out including the speaker and xm so you come out ahead in that area too cause you can transfer the radio and xm to the new car. I feel for you tho man, my 93 ex sedan was totaled 3 weeks ago over on ox road in va. 2700 in damage check was cut for 3200

Well, I guess my story has a happy ending. I picked up a new Civic over the weekend.
I bought a 95 Civic LX, 5 speed, Sedan. It's one year newer, has 130K miles (vs. 150K), and I guess the kid who owned it before modded it because it has some after market stuff on there.
Cross-drilled rotors, I think after-market pads, Alpine head unit with CD, Infiniti speakers/tweeters, Viper Alarm/Keyless Entry, and I think he may have put springs on the car as it feels a lot tigher and more taut than other Civics that I've driven.
Surprisingly this car is a LOT smoother and quicker than my 94. I picked it up and had a 500 mile drive to do, so that was my car's "break-in" period. It did amazingly well. I cruised between 80 and 100, the car was quiet, smooth, and just a blast to drive. Got 34.62 miles to the gallon too.
Thomor, sorry about your loss, Old Ox Road is about 3 minutes away from my house.
And as others have said, I'll transfer what I can out of my 94 into my 95 such as XM etc.
