i wonder how hot your dipstick gets, it is soo close to that manifold . i say you get one of those "jdm" type R dipsticks for that heat dissipation. :chuckles:

:thinking: Why? If you meter off the UICP, I guess your boost gauge will be able to monitor compressor surge if your BOV is set too tight, but you can't read vacuum pressure in the manifold. Everyone I know gets the source from the intake manifold, or a throttle body vac line (where the map sensor is on some cars).

Were you talking about your WG actuator vac-line or answering the boost gauge question?
