lkailburn - $30 plus $5 core. so $35 for a phenomenal turbo.
have you looked in the engine bay of a 900? The turbo is bass-ackwards... theres no way to mount it with the intake facing the passenger side, so unless you've got a perfeclty sized SMIC, theres no way to route intercooler plumbing and downpipe without miles of meandering piping, plus theres not really any good place to put the intake on the driver's side of the engine bay. Some of the older 900s and 99s have a different bolt pattern too. The 9000 one mounts in front of the motor just like most other transverse front driver's would, but the 900 has a longitudinally mounted engine, a really bizzare exhaust manifold and an unusual turbo/IC arrangement. It just requires a lot more creative IC and exhaust routing.
Yeah, and I guess I was way off on those prices h: My roommate's last turbo was $800, so I'm a bit skewed
well, the turbos most people buy are huge, brand new aftermarket turbos, in high demand I might add. Much different case than a used stock saab or chrysler turbo from a junkyard.
