ex vs dx bottom end

ex vs dx bottom end
are 96 dx pistons, rods, crank the same as a 96 exs. i had dx block with a ex head but i blew the motor so i wanna know if the ex block is stronger than a dx. thanks

i think that the ex block is made to be a little stronger, being that it is essentially a vtec motor and the dx is not.

I'm not sure but I've HEARD that dx rods are smaller than ex rods. Don't hold me to that though.

I dlive DX has strong bottom end, and crap topend from no VTEC.

on is a 1.6 and one is a 1.5 big difference.

as far as i know the dx has a decent bottom end but no upper end.. ahah ver bottom end
