I've seen this swap but I honestly don't know what the point is...to be different??? Any "B" swap would be better, cheaper, faster. I have yet to see a "k" engine impress me. They are a pain in the ass to work on, chain drive sucks, etc...
Everything I have read says that the K's are much better platform than the old B/H series engines. I haven't seen it first hand, but everyone says they respond better to things as simple as bolt-ons better than the old engine. You also have to remember that a B series engine hasn't been produced since 2001. Eventually they will be phased out by the K's as soon as more of the K cars end up in junkyards. To me this looks like a transtions period between the old and the new. Personally, I can't wait for the new

Yeah 200 HP, 140 ft/lbs of torque, and 6 speed tranny sucks. Not to mention it's lighter than a B18C. I like the fact you don't have to change a timing belt every 90K miles. They also respond better to mods compared to any B-series.
I was talking to a guy in Slidell LA yesterday and he was saying that the company he works for was the first in the U.S. to manfacture engine mounts and harness for a K series in a Civic...WTF????? A K series????? True or not? Hybrid-Racing is the name of the place...anybody ever heard of them?
