Stock Rev limiter RPM on d16z6?
I just got done installing some S7 dimensional gauges on my car and the speedo got outa calibration. Right now the tach is reading 7200 rpm on the at the rev limiter, although I thought it was like 100 rpm higher or so. I readjusted the speed by removing the speedo from the housing and lifting the needle up on the spindle slightly, then there is a spot below the gauge face where needle nose pliers fit perfectly to grasp the spindle. Well I turned the needle to the speed where 2nd gear was hitting the rev limiter and then grasped the spindle with pliers. While the spindle was grasped I turned the needle to 62 mph. Just for verification that all is reading properly I need to know if 2nd hits the rev limiter at 62 mph and that the rev limit is 7200 rpm. This on a 95 Civic EX coupe manual
