5G hatch front conversion?

Default 5G hatch front conversion?

i wanted to change up the front end of my car...the 5G is so common any more....i was thinking of possibly putting the 6G front end on...anyone know how much work that would be? would it be pretty much bolt up? or would i have to weld alot...thanks

also...does anyone have any other front conversion suggestions? nothin too fancy...just somethin to mix it up a bit

the jdm itr is the only one I would consider. 6g on a 5g looks funny to me.

you can put it on any civic... its a custom oppereation (and by the way, the coupe front end is identical to the hatch one). The conversion requires the front bumper, hood, radiator support, fenders, headlights and grille from the itr. You need to both the itr and civic fenders in half and join the rear part of the civic fenders to the front part of the itr fenders and blend them decently enough so that it looks unmolested. The rest more or less bolts up, but needs plenty of test fitment.

hmm....as for now...i think i'll just keep it the way it is....no sense in rippin apart the front end of my car...thanks guys

I don't understand the logic with that mindset, If the 5th gen is common, the 6th gen isn't? :thinking:

well...a stock 5G body is common...but you don't exactly see a 5G with a 6G front end conversion every day...sry...i should have specified...
