Default ACT or Exedy clutch? Act pro or streetlite fly?

i have a 98 civic ex coupe with dc sport 4-2-1 header, dc sport short throw, aem cold air, apexi ws catback, with carsound cat. my question is do i go act hdss clutch or exedy stage 1? im willing to spend the extra money on the act if its worth it but if its not forget it. as for flywheels is the prolite too light for the street? will it hold up? or am i better off gettn the streetlite?

There really isn't much difference between the clutches... Keep in mind, exedy makes OEM honda clutches, so the quality is there.

As for the flywheel, I'd go with the prolite. Those who have them seem to think its perfectly drivable for daily driving. The slightly heavier streetlite is mostly just to give you a little more rotational enertia to make launching easier (if the main purpose for your car is drag, the streetlite is probably better for you, allthough, given your setup, I'd guess its probably just fun transportation) It'll be easier to stall the car (driving up hills from a stop, etc) with the prolite, but generally people say its not really a problem, but they all rave about the performance.

I have a stage 1 excedy in my 95 civic D16z6 and I love it. Its drives mostly like stock but you can feel the differance. My budy has an act 6 puck in his 95 integra and I'll tell you that sucks to drive in the city. It either on or off no inbetween. If you want it to drivable I would with the ecedy, if you want to feel it more than go with the act. You know what I mean or I am just stupid?

thats because its a 6-puck, not because its an ACT. An exedy 6-puck would be just as much of a pain in the ass.

Customer Service at ACT is AWSOME!

if you ever had a problem.. they would take care of it.. most likely free of charge!

(my experience)

Ive had an organic exedy clutch and it feels awesome. slightly bolder than stock and its held my turbo so far. People sometimes say the organic is no good for boost but ive yet to see it.
