Default D15B7 buildup.....

Hey everybody, has anyone ever tried to buildup their D15B7 engine? I am hesitant to shell out the money for an engine swap and labor, and I figured, if I buildup the engine one at a time, I can save a little bit of money...Am I crazy??? Should I just go and do a complete swap???

Swap it man. Yeah there are some D-series engines that are built well, but IMO why build a D block when it sounds as though you already have your mind made up to eventually get a B engine.

I was doing some **** that I knew I'd be able to use on a d16z6 whenever I ended up getting one. Headers, intake, exhaust, wires, plugs. It make a difference. I could pull on Si's in this area easy, but it is by no means fast. Good thing the rings just went on it, and I've got a d16z6 sitting in my garage waiting to go in! Stage 2 clutch, lightened flywheel, etc. Anyway, if you just want to get some more power cheap, either do a mini-me swap, throw in a d16z6 or wait to get a B engine. It doesn't do enough with the d15 alone to justify it. That, or just make it a show car!
