Trying to get 400hp from an internally stock B18C-R is asking for trouble.

 

nothing but put a pair of GS-R cams on their..thinking about stroking the engine for better torque..

 

of course Im going to sleeve the block get stronger piston rods and the whole 9..

 

You put gs-r cams on a ITR motor? :thinking:

I wouldn't recommend stroking the B18C5... you'd either have to lower the redline, or you'd end up with pretty dangerous piston speeds. If you want to increase displacement, a B18 can be safely bored out to 84-85mm once sleeved (which you'll need to do anyway).

I'm no expert on specific turbos, so you'll have to ask the other guys which ones will give you the kinda power characteristics youre looking for. Absorb all the information they give you, sounds like you could benefit from a bit of research.

 

It weird..but the GS-R Cams work better in a ITR engine..ask around..

It wasnt my Idea..Blake Fuller (when he had his ITR and was racing Pikes Peak) Put GS-R cams in it.for some reason you get better response from them.Thanks for the Info tho White..

yeah Im one step ahead..I already gave him a PM waiting for a response..Ic aught his his thread on his ferio 400hp turbo build up..

 

i dont know why you would swap in a itr engine when you are going to turbo it. A gsr is just as good and costs less.
