help!! installing racing seats into a 95 civic
im tryin to install some racing seats into my car...and i bought a set of universal sparco brackets for the install, but the way the original seats are mounted are on a weird angle due to a metal beam that lumps up...anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

I'd get a torch out and bend the tabs on the rails however you have to, to make it work...

What metal beam are you referring to on the brackets you bought. I have the Sparco Sprint seat and adj. bracket for it. I do hate the angle because it sits too far forward. If that's what you're referring to then, just put washers btwn the seat and the rails. I have 4 in the front holes and one or no in the rear holes. It reclines it a lil more. What Sparco seat do you have? The sprint seat is a bucket seat that is a lil difficult to see over your shoulder when making lane changes. Good for the track.
