have my automatic transmission fluid changed? I don't know if it ever has been. Car has 152,091 miles on it.

I've heard changing it if its never been done after so many miles can cause the transmission to start slipping. :dunno: This is an automatic again not manual.


I have a friend who can do it this weekend if you guys think i should.

Haynes manual says to change it every 30,000 or 24 months

Yup, that means you have to change it at least four times to get caught up. Seriously, get it done, but go to Honda, they put the right stuff in and know how to do it. If you are thinking about going to Jiffy Lube, just do it yourself.

Im gonna go to honda and get the fluid from them and then have my friend help/do it for me. Jiffly lube makes me :nervous: i was there today actually .thnx guys

I havent ever changed my auto tranny fluid and cars got 80K I wonder if it was done before i got the car :thinking:
