I think the main reason is he has a 6sp, which has shorter gearing than your GSR tranny. Even with a ITR tranny he should beat you in 3rd/4th gear.

That is true, but he said that they were on the HIGHWAY when this happened. If they were already driving and tried to downshift, the RSX with shorter gearing and more power (and better traction) would "walk away" from him.

I think he needs to have his car tuned and redo his suspension (inc. wheels/tires) - then he should be solidly back in the 13's.

did you put an itr motor in your integra? or did you have a gsr integra? with the b18c1?

if you actually were pulling flat 14's out of your integra, you shouldn't have any issues racing any rsx especially stock.

your story is confusing.

first tell us what kind of motor you have, ITR, or B18c1?

First step is always to see if you installed the engine right.

Computers are not affected by being upside down...no moving parts. Unless you crushed or otherwise physically damaged it, then no way. Maybe that chip you have is to blame? Was it like, a cheap Ebay one or something? Was it in your DC last time you had it at the track?

Everything I had in the Integra basically just got transferred into that Civic. Same ECU, same motor and same tranny. Haven't done any upgrades. The tires are even the same size 205/40/17. So I don't see any reason why it shouldn't run the same exact time. If anything, should gain 1 second in the quarter mile. But you know what, I haven't ran at the track yet. Just comparing it to how bad my friend spanked me in his RSX. Like I said, same setup, but before when it was in my DC chassis, I use to spank him instead.

Did you race his RSX before your teg crashed?
