Ill take the 160 hp to the 125 anyday plus the DOHC VTEC. Im all stock b16 in my 96 EX and and i spank EX's with intake, header, exhaust, HKS AFR, and pulleys. Well i dont spank them but i win by about 1/2 a car. Thats alot of mods compared to my all stock b16. I will get the greddy kit and eventually upgrade to a 20g or better turbo after i replace the bottom and top ends of the engine.
if you were going to do all that, you should have gone with a b18c1 from the start. I have seen some Dyno's of turbo B16's and was not that inpressed with most...

Where in the world do you get the idea that a SI weighs 2800 pounds, are you smoking crack? I think it's mighty impressive the D16 makes more torque than the B16 with minus a cam and a not as well flowing head (this is due to a better rod:stroke ratio but you probably have no idea what that is).

You can take your 160 factory rated hp and cram it up your ass, 160 hp is 160 hp DOHC VTEC (i.e you're a giant fanboy who is probably brainwashed by the ricers over at superhonda . com) has no effect when you are already talking about the end result

The really sad part is you can't drive if you're barely pulling on bolton ex's. Do you know how much whp a bolton ex makes with those boltons compared to your almighty b16? A single cam honda with "a ton of mods" probably doesn't gain more than 10 whp on a good day with per say 40 degree weather and a CAI+whatever else.

Good luck trying to spool a 20G with your b16, you're ignorant, you don't listen and you have no idea what you're talking about. Everyone loves to assume bigger=better without stopping to think about matching parts to perform at their peak together. I'd be glad to post a video of a greddy kit SI @ 13 psi with pistons and rods losing to my D16-T from a low mph 1st gear roll all the way to 4th gear

I simply stated for the price of swapping a B series, the D16 makes great power and is a good value. Why don't you go make yourself usefull and "replace the bottom and top ends of your engine". Oh wait that means shell out 800 bucks to a shop to pull your valve cover off cause it's probably too dawning of a task for someone of your intelligence.

how so...most B series owners don't have any respect for the B16. B18B1 and C1/5 are the way to go if you're gonna make the jump and swap.

i just like all honda motors in general...just because you've worked with one doesn't mean others suck...

i was just be a cac mainly, i wasn't really getting up in Paullls face.

Rod/Stroke ratio on the B16A is nearly perfect for high engine speeds. A d16, while cool little motor, could never rev up to 12000RPM, thats just how its is...but a Turbo will always make more power on an engine with a longer stroke,

this doesn't mean the B16A sucks and you should have no respect for it though. the B16 a is the patriarch of the honda motor family. we wouldn't have other B-series motors, we wouldn't have K-series motors, and we wouldn't have F20C's if it wasn't for the B16A.

That ex had oher shit 2 you ****ing moron, its not like hes gonna tell me everything he has. All he said was "and some other stuff". I had a D16 with a turbo you idiot and i raced plenty of Si's and GSR's with turbos and i always lost to them. And dont try to talk shit about being a bad driver b/c my uncle is a pro at dragging and he taught me the right way to drive a stick. ****ing idiot take your D16 and shove it up your ass. My b16 will outrun your d16 any day with a turbo especially in the upper rpm's.

haha good thing the SR has enough torque to tow your RX7 when it's dead on the side of the road with smoking apex seals

Haha yeah sure it did...what are your track times, specifically 60 foots. The rule here at HAN is don't talk sh*t if you don't numbers, timeslips, vids, dyno graphs to back it up (that'd be you)

I beat bolton SI'/GSR's when my EX was boltons to 90 every time because till you get to 3rd gear it's mostly driver skills. I don't give a damn if your dad is Christian Rado, driving skills aren't always inherited. Till you post some proof you're just another moron lurking HAN.

FYI i don't even have a civic anymore i have a JDM SR20 powered SE-R and soon a audi S4. I pulled 1.8 60 foots in my civic without LSD on 8 psi, i'd love to see you do the same.
