I a newbe and with all due respect I think that this merger was a mistake.
As a new Sol owner I was looking for a DEL SOL specific forum, not a humongous Civic forum with 13,000 posts in which a Sole specific thread would be buried in 5 minutes…
If I wanted to I could go to the Civic forum to ask questions and visa versa…

I still don’t understand what the reasoning for this merger was?

Regardless of all that, the real reason the Solers are up in arms are because they (we?) are snobs, they (we?) think that the Civics are a dime a dozen and that the Sols are special because they are relatively rare, which is somewhat true.
Just so you Civic duded know what the fuss is all about.

I do agree that civics are a dime a dozen but del sols are by no means "rare". I have like a dozen in my town alone and I live in a small town. Here on this board we have something called a "search" button for you to look up threads. If you are looking for a specific Sol thread, click that Search button and type in a subject. All this arguing about the merger is very immature and we need to notice that we are here because the people who did the merger keep it running. How would you like it if they just shut down the board all together? Would you still complain and moan about two similar cars being merged into one forum? I said quit being sissy's about all this and accept the way things have been. :rant: :slap:

We all would like you to stay if you can accept the fact that the two forums are merged. You may find it to be very learningful down the road and you just don't see it now, but if you are going to keep this up and keep moaning like this, then leave and don't come back. :wavey:

 

See how great it'll be then. You can get Sol answers in the same forum you can answer Civic owner questions!

Yeah I better see the Integra and Integra type R merge!!!! They are just about as different as a del sol and a 2000 civic 4 door. I don't understand how they deserve two seperate forums now.
