Change is good. A little odd for some to adjust to, but certainly adjustable overall.

Since i don't know much about tegs maybe others don't know much about sols. The teg and the itr still is the same body, chasis, everything but what, motor suspension seats maybe??? so what the sol VTEC has different suspension than the sol si and had a b16 instead of a d16z6, has factory sway bars and strut bars. My point is the teg is a teg is a teg, so a sol is a sol is a sol. If one car has 2 fourms why do a 3 door, 2 door, 4 door, some canadian model and the sol get one fourm???? that makes no sense.

WHere you might say a swaybar is different suspension that is pretty weak. Certain civics have swaybars and some don't. They all have different suspension then? The suspension geometry and mounting points are the same for the 92-95 Civic and the Del Sol. This happens to also be the same for the Integra RS/LS/GS/SE/GSR but they have the engine and other characteristics that keep them from being joined.

A Type-R has a different subframe, different lower control arms, different rear shocks, different BODY (stamped completely different), different engine, different swaybar, different strut braces (This is pretty insignificant regardless of car). A Type-R is days different than other DC2 integras than the Del sol is compared to a civic.

look at a del sol VTEC and a civic HX nothing is the same there but the chasis, and i think that the sol chasis is shorter than a civic. No a sway bar does not mean that it has completly different suspension but the sol VTEC does have different shocks, struts, and the what not, not just a sway bar.

EDIT: what is it with HAN all the sudden and itr's???

You can take the entire Del Sol suspension and put it on a Civic without modifying a single bolt.

Yet you could take everything off of that VTEC Del Sol and put in onthe Civic HX. The Civic Hatchs are also shorter than the coupes and the Del Sol has a shorter wheelbase than the Hatchs, yet there are more parts that come from the factory that they sare than I can count.

Integras(G3) had differnt Engines from the factory than and Del Sol or Civic, where del sol and civic's share most if not all of the same engines.

Uhmm we didn't bring ITRs up, a Del Sol owner did. Go ask him/her why he/she decided to bring up ITRs.

okay, now im on my name
i have respect for a lot of the civic owners. i recognize a few names. but like everyone said, the civic forum was a nice tight community we had. there is no way any answers or posts are going to hold up because of how much everything is moving so fast, or sol specific threads. a different board i used to go to went through the same thing. and now its shit. everyone left, anytime a soler needs to make a thread, they have to have the word "SOL" in the title. because we are the minority... one of my favorite boards just became one of the least

I say we just ban sky-sol for about a week and see how things go. Looks like he is the only one with his panties in a wod over this. Sky just go to import love or some other board if you do not like how this one is now. Everyone else has calmed down and accepted it, why can't you? Just hush and let things flow, won't hurt you to learn a lil bout Civics and what not.
