Hey guys, got 620 bucks, need to know what I should get... b16a2 engine.. I was thinking of a pair of stage 2 cams.. anyway your input is appreciated, thanks <^_^>

well if you do stage 2 or spec b cams you will have to upgrade your valve springs and retainers...also it is not required but to get the most out of those types of cams it is recomended to get it tuned with adjustable cam gears....you will also see much greater gains with the stage two cams with higher compression......sooooo long story short just wanted to let you know some info

I was planning to try to get the adjustable cam gears as well. Thanks for the info.

Very true :goodjob: I would recommend doing some suspension mods or something since you really can't do alot to the motor with $620. If anything get some type R cams or some stage 1 cams so you will not have to change your valve springs and retainers and get some cam gears so you can tune them.

well if worst comes to worst ill just save up more and not get anything right now =D

that is why I got the CTR cams to put in in the spring....you are still supposed to put in stiffer springs if you plan on raising the redline though. I also would recomend suspension work if you need it, or maybe a nice exhaust system, high flow cat....I dunno....but you need more loot to really tear into the head and make it worth while
