it seems like the new trend is to get an S13 w/ an SR20 and start drifting the **** outta it.. it's gonna be played out soon, i think... getting a 240 is just like jumping on the bandwagon.. i don't really like the idea of buying an old ass car and having to fix up all the **** that's gotten messed up over the years.. very hard to find one in good condition

so go with GSR turbo

do an LS swap...cheaper and more money left over to boost more.

I agree! that's why I've been ass dragging around curves at twice the posted limit since I was 16. Drifting an FF car is fun as hell. Not quite the same control as the FR. Still, Gimmie a Sil80 or an AE86 and I'd be in heaven.

I'm going to have to disagree. The 240sx in N. America is too rare to be played out. When honda, acura, etc. fans switch to 240's, they get excited that they can do donuts and drifting. Then that urge dies off, then they become racers again. And 240's aren't necessarily old, they were sold from 89-97 in N America, so you could get a newer one if you want. Furthermore, turbocharging the 240 engine is common, not as common as the sr swap, but people still do it.

buy the motor and turbo from me

3100 for a 94+ GSR and 2925 for a drag gen 3 kit brand new.

phuk the 240. Get an NX 2000 for like $1200, swap in the sr20det, and it will be a shietload faster than 240. Handley as a bastard too.

i'd rather have the gs-r swap, easier and cheaper, but i love the s13s too

If you already got a se-r sentra, g20, or nx [with the sr20] this is all you need:

the sr stock internals can handle 400hp with proper tuning, so as long as you got the proper fuel enrichment, you can boost all you want. Wish I still had my se-r
