Ameripool just gives you the piece of plastic. You attach it to your rails and it fits onto the seals there. That will not resolve your issue.

when you rip out seals you also take out the bolts holding them in and destroy them. you have to get new bolts also, well thats what i've been told and heard

distroying my car comes to mind.... finding seals in good condition is my new goal, or a place that will fix them for cheap.

but if other people have similar conditon seals and dont have big problems, then i guess its ok in the end.

well, by adding more silicone rubber stuff to your seals isnt going to harm them....ill help you look for some new seals. but finding some 95+ will be hard.

its kinda like bondoing a car.

No. I had one. All you get is the plastic piece, with attaching areas that you bolt your rails to. Have you ever taken apart the targa top? It's 2 screws and 6 bolts. Do it and you'll see what I mean.

man that blows, 650 for a piece of platic, what a rip. Oh well, when i get home i'll take pics of my seals, i think they look good, much better than tib's. when people say theirs leaks its not like a flood, i just get like a drop a minuite in hard rain on my leg.
