GSR fuel pump Vs. Civic Fuel pump
What is the flow difference between the two?? Would a GSR pump help run a Z6 with some mods run better? Thanks for the help.

Im not 100% sure but I know if you wanna get more gas flow and IF the gsr does flow better it will not do anything for you due to the injectors being the same size . You will need to get bigger injectors as well . Goodluck !

IF i were you, id upgrade the fuel pump. Its not a necessity, but it will help. The D series fuel pumps flow less than the GSR/TypeR/B16 pumps. There have been some guys that had problems with bogging due to not enough fuel being delivered, so they upgraded to a higher flowing and solved to problem to an extent. HIH

Approx 165k miles on a stock CX pump and it ran a '95 B18C1 just fine. I think most people who benefit from upgrading to a GS-R pump from a Civic one only see a difference because the Civic pump was on it's way out. I haven't seen any solid data (IE factory specifications or actual flow tests) that the fuel pump in cars with DOHC VTEC cars are any different from every other Civic/Integra. It seems to be a pretty common assumption (and logically following what's usually done with those cars) but I haven't seen any data proving those pumps are more efficent. If your concerned about your fuel setup, an adjustable fuel pressure regulator or something like a V-AFC might be a wise investment if you have access to a dyno to tune with.
By the way, nice sig white n slow, I just noticed that.
