In my Civic that piece doesn't support anything, I think it's just to keep wires from dropping too far down.

Did you get a Helms manual or some other service manual? It'd probably be pretty helpful to you, especially since you have a lot of work ahead of you.

Well i looked on the helms site and it doesnt seem to have produced a manual for that year yet?!?

And I have not looked into a service manual, I was hoping to find one on the web, but no such luck.

I'm pretty sure you can get one. Just look around online or some of the sponsors here I think would have one. You're gonna need one

there is a 70mb pdf file which is a complete honda manual. i downloaded it and i am in the process of printing it. 2189 pages.... and for 96 wiring in a 99.nope. 96-98 obd2a....99-00 obd2b completely differant. you need any help wiring, let me know

also....look under the pdf manuals

Civic EJ6, EJ7, EJ8 (96-00) Service Manual(69Mb PDF) new
this is the best manual ever...everything about 96-00 civics and even wiring troubleshooting. :naughty:

no prob....jus trying to help ya out. hey, if you find an extra piece that goes in the center of the dash.. for the heater controls and radio. the bezel....let me know would ya?
