eh, here in the states, its just bling, really. I like driving around at dusk with my headlamps off when I can show them off
on the USDM ones, there's a circular knob thing (it sticks out a bit) molded into the rear of the housing. The tip is about the size of a dime or penny. Thats where the city light plugs in from the back.

no cutting/drilling. just tapped the wires into my parkings lights. the metal rings sandwhich between the bulb and housing, the wires fit thru the holes in the base of the h4 bulb

TYC makes a set of headlights;
Not projectors or anything, but supposedly they could also accomodate 194/168 bulbs as an optional "daytime running light". These sell for a little over 100 bucks.
