Default Can I put a stock 99 civic cd player in my 96 civic?
Will it just plug in and work or is it a no-go?

Plugs are different. You'll need an adapter harness to make it work.

make sure u have the security code that u put into the cd player when its first installed...wont work without that

Walmart carries a nice one, it has BOTH of the connectors that came on civics on it so it will work with any model civic. - It was about 12 bucks Canadaian when I got one for mine.
