I don't know if this is helpful but I am thinking the noise I had awhile back is like yours - scrapping at random times and speeds - I had the tiniest pebble caught between my caliper and rotor. Just had to take the caliper off. Took five minutes.

Or the headlight fluid.

I noticed it today that it was coming from outside of the car, and just like you said at random speeds.....i rolled down windows and heard it coming from the passneger side tire well.

You may want to check your pads and rotor - just remember when you put the caliper/pads back on you won't have brakes for a couple of seconds. First time i learned that I almost took out a mailbox.

If it happens at the same RPMs then it's something that's attached to the motor. Heat shield, catalytic converter (I know mine needs replacing), resonator, exhaust components.

My caliper got stuck and thats what it sounded like. try taking them off and cleaning them of brake dust. If one of your wheels gets real hot, then that's what it is.

Its not my brakes or rotors. I was driving today and was driving along a alley way and it sounded more like something was rattling or loose. I had fuel pump checked and it wasn't it. Its coming from under car on passenger side. Anymore ideas? I check the headlight fluid and flux-capacitor, they fine :a: :drunk:

what it sounded like to me (before you located the noise) was the A/C, it still may be worth checking. have you noticed a differance when the a/c is on or off... have a/c?
