Default Civic Problems... Any hints would be appreciated?

Hi,
Just got my car running after being parked... I went for a spin and as i was driving i noticed at a stoplight i was idling at 2 rpm's.. i was going to head back home and my car sounded like it was going to die on me.. like the rpm's would drove then rise again.. sounded like i was reving it up... Even a harley motorcycle thought i was trying to rev it up to him because he started doing the same to me... hehe.. kinda embarrasing.. well.... it kept reving up and down even when i was driving.... i stopped and then it went anyway... any ideas what this might be? Please leave your opinions... thanks

What's the tempurature that your car is sitting in. If it's in a colder climate, dump a bottle of Iso-Heet into it. Get the stuff in the red bottles Its about 97 cents. It will take all the water out of your gas.

the temperature here is around 80-90 degrees.. pretty hot... could it be that i just had it sitting for too long? it was sitting for about 3 weeks? it ran smooth after i turned it off and turned it back on... could it be o2 sensor or throttle sensor?

You can try resetting the computer. You can do this by pulling the ECM fuse under the hood or disconnecting the battery. Look for obvious things as well. Mice or rodents that may have chewed on some hoses/wires.
