Default Guage question (noob)?

So, I want to change the stock guages to the white ones...

I don't what the ricey 4 million color ones though...

I figure that the stock backlight is fine, no need for bright green or pink, but...

If I get some white guages, can't I just install them and use the stock backlight? Or do I have to plug in some transformer or wierd electronic box so that they light up?

Is there any brand or supplier that I can get these from?

Thanks.

One more thing: I read somewhere that you can make a template in Photoshop and have them made? Anyone gone that way?

I've made them before. They don't work like you think they would...

From what I've seen, the white faced gauges use the stock lighting.

Here's some white faced for ya: http://www.modacar.com/products/Honda/Civic/MODACGF/
