The rev limiter is there for your protection. Don't get rid of it, that's just asking for trouble.

:werd: There is no use to either of changing the rev limit or bypassing the govenor. :slap: They put them there for a reason.

Yeah I mean I could understand you wanted to remove that on your b16 + motors but a d15 ? It's not gonna help you one bit . I just got a 92 Hb and that shit is killer slow ! Do you know how hard it is to cut someone off ? :madfawk: But hey either way if you do remove them your still in the same spot . YOU HAVE A SHITTY MOTOR ! LEARN TO COPE WITH IT ! Not trying to be an ass**le about it

I believe that's a drag limited speed, not a governor speed.

A rev limiter won't save you then. The car is moving so fast that it forces the engine to spin really fast, and the engine will still blow. All the rev limiter does is cut fuel after a certain RPM.

Any engine can be fast. I dont have to cope with it because there are milions of things to do about it. Sounds like you need to do some more research. I am not trying to sound like a ass either but a motor is a motor put some time and cash in it and it is capable of doing whatever you tell it to.. My D15 isnt slow and if you want yours to be faster maybe you should think about allitle time and some NOS...Dont worry with the right amout of new shit your car is perfectly capable of whatever..I put a zex kit on mine and I havent a problem...Gueass you will have to try harder.

What do you run in the 1/4?

There is a fuel cut at a certain speed, it's not drag. It will cut you at ~125-127 mph. Why would you need to go faster than that?
