Default obd1 change to obd2

i have a 94 dx sedan and i have a totalled 97 ex coupe...i wanna do the mini-me swap and i dont wanna have to go through getting the p28 ecu so would i just be able to change my 94 to obd2 with all the wiring from the 97? advise and tips would be greatly appreciated....thanks......
ps.....would there be any other way i can still use that ecu and keep it obd1?

Converting the engine to OBD-1 will be much simpler then converting the body to OBD-2. P28's are not hard to find, either.

you should really go to obd1 on the motor.. its much better, and as stated an ecu to do that is not that hard to come across

so then what do i need form that car once i get the p28? what would i need to wire up?

well the car is prewired for obd1... so my guess is just the ecu.. no matter what you will need to wire it for vtec.... or change the harness completely.. id say just the obd1 ecu...

its not that you NEED obd1... its just that MOST people once they get serious.. especially if they go to something like hondata end up with obd1.... do its like you are prewired to do it so why not..

i just wanna know how i can make my 94 obd2 thats all....i wanna use everything from the 97 ex....dont care about the 92-95 p28

i guess you could remove the WHOLE harness out of the 97.. and install it into your car... that would make it wired for obd2, and also wire you for vtec..
