:werd: to that Motorcylcists can get away with murder and we make our exhausts a little louder (and still quieter than some stock cars) and we get in trouble.

As for me with my WS I havent been bothered at all here in NH or down in Mass at school.:thumbup:

The reasons the harleys can get away with it, is because that is stock. If it is stock, it is legal. I bet if honda made an after market exhaust and you can prove it to the cop that is OEM, then they cant write you a ticket. Havent had problems in pa with the loud exhaust tickets.

It depends on the state. In New York, according to the Vehicle and Traffic Law, any non-stock or stock replacement muffler is illegal.

im running high flow cat and split pipe duals with magnaflow mufflers and nothing wrong...only problem is cops dont need to follow the rules, just how the feel at the moment.

I run open downpipe in Ala-bam-uhhh all the time and don't get tickets. It could be because my dad is the police chief, but I don't think it REALLY matters.
