Default ZC powered EG????

I did the swap and it's back from the shop tuesday..

92 OBD 1 DOHC ZC motor non vtec....

Now what can I do to mod it...

basic bolt ons or a turbo kit. zc motor has low compression.

Well will my AEM CAI fit the new motor...it was for the stock engine.....

I drive a 92 vx civic hatch....

I also have exhaust..and a fuel pressure regulator...

what should I be running..any idea...?

i say you should be able to hit low 15's

ofcourse i'm saying that cause i've seen zc's in crx' run that.

but an eg i dunno... i'd say close.


those zc's are nice i think... they usualy keep up with me in 1st.

I hope you don't have to smog. Isn't the sohc vtec have more power than ZC?

I think you may be right, not sure on the torque though... I'm really wondering on this swap too... Why?

I did it cuz the swap cuz I hydro-locked my hatch 2 weeks ago...and it's my daily driver so I need a quick fix...I did the zc cuz I wanted DOHC...to put a turbo on and be able to do some good tunning...

ZC: 130horse 108lbs of torque
D16z6: 125 Horse 106lbs of torque...
Redline is about the same...

No I don't have to smog...I live in AZ...I do have emissions but not for a year...I'll rebuild it by then....

I'm hoping for just mid 15's...

Now how could I mod it????
